Unprofessional. Will Never Use Dentist Practice Again. Staff Is Completely Untrained When Dealing With A Type 1 Diabetic In Office. Failed To Covered Dexcom G7 Sensor. When Asked Doing X Rays. ! I Advocated For Daughter. Staff Was Completely UnEducated Called Out My Daughters Disability In Front Of Waiting Room Full Of People.. Reached Out to Manager. They Held No Accountability. ! They Should Be Put Out Of Business For Discriminating A Child !

I don't typically write reviews but I felt compelled after our experience today. We've just loved this office (Avon location) and my daughters enjoy going to the dentist because of the good experiences we've had here over the years. Today I took my 5 year old, and she needed x-rays. She was so scared, but the hygienists and staff were so incredibly patient and sweet and even made my daughter smile. They didn't force her and took the time to calm her even though the office was busy. I was just blown away by the compassion and care they show to my girls consistently every visit, but especially today when my little one's emotions were all over the place. The entire staff has just been so nice and approachable and make the experience so pleasant for kids. They even give a prize at the end of the visit, which my girls always look forward to! I can't say enough good things. The only thing I will warn is to make your appointment early because they fill up so fast - but I guess that's a testament to how popular they are because it's such a great office!

Going to make this a continuous review, update as I see fit per encounter with this office. edit w/ an update on 10/29/2025 my mixed feelings still stand. Today, I got a text for a balance due which was new to me. Last week I had to call and make an appointment for my oldest due to a cracked molar. NOT ONCE did anyone mention a balance being due, but also this (the balance) is from an appointment back in August and we are just now hearing of it now in October all of a sudden the day before an appointment might I add. So two months go by, no communication has taken place, no invoice is sent (because they haven't done that in over 3 plus years or so they say), so my question is, how am I supposed to handle this appropriately when the office can't even do that themselves. When I call the office, the first person I spoke to didn't have a real response so they put someone else on the phone. The balance was written off, but I don't appreciate being treated like I'm stupid. I've never had to pay a balance prior to this, so this was unexpected and what I wanted was for the charges to be broken down so I'm aware of WHAT EXACTLY I AM PAYING FOR. After the experience I’ve had today I would’ve given them 0 stars. I usually love coming here but today everyone was extremely rude. Not only to myself but my 5 year old daughter as well. I called the office and told them that I was going to be late I told the receptionist if I needed to reschedule that will be fine. She said no come in. Upon arrival the receptionist made snarky remarks and comments. I ignored them and proceeded to check in. The woman that called us to the back had made several comments as well as making certain facial expressions. AGAIN I ignored them and let her finish my daughters X-rays. The woman who cleaned my daughters teeth was a JOY. She was the only one who gave my daughter some sort of compassion. As everyone should’ve. Because again I called and was completely fine with having to reschedule. Things could’ve went differently but instead I ignored these grown woman who you’d think would have some type of professionalism. I will be pulling both of my kids from this office.
